Animal Instinct wins “Best of Show,” 2 Gold Addys and a Silver Addy for Penguin campaign.
The Chattanooga Advertising Club’s highest honors went to our fine-feathered, playful penguin friends at the Tennessee Aquarium for their performances in two television commercials.
Our “Penguins’ Rock” commercial continued on its roll from being featured in the AZA Pizzazz reel to winning a Gold Addy and “Best of Show” in Chattanooga.
If that wasn’t enough, our companion “Spaghetti Western” commercial featuring a blue-screened penguin as the new hombre in the Aquarium won a Gold Addy award as well. Both commercials won in the consumer services, travel division and teamed up to win a Silver Addy as a campaign in the same division.
According to the campaign’s writer/director Greg Newberry, “Our thanks go to Marketing Director Cindy Todd and Senior Marketing Manager Lisa Garey Brown for believing in these ideas and our partners at Atomic Films, Sound Images and CommandX for helping us bring them to life.”
